Our Story
Built from love. Driven by purpose.
Lucky Bwalya Ngandu passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was deeply loved by her children, family, friends, and the many people whose lives she touched through her kindness, generosity, and care for others.
Her experience with cancer also revealed the realities many families face during serious illness: the emotional strain, the financial pressure, the constant medical appointments, and the challenge of trying to maintain stability during uncertain and difficult circumstances.
Why the Foundation Exists
The Lucky Bwalya Ngandu Foundation was established to continue the compassion, care, and service that defined Lucky's life. The Foundation exists to address practical challenges faced by cancer patients and their families in Zambia by providing support that reduces barriers to care. Our work is grounded in compassion, dignity, and consistent community support.
